Hello listeners! This is Melissa, one of the hosts of the show. Although our trademark is being random, a small segment of the show will be dedicated to one of my future projects called the Happy News Network. It is basically a segment that will focus on one or two news stories from the week that are actually focused on something happy instead of shootings and robberies. Hopefully you will enjoy hearing something that will actually lighten up your day. I promise the segment will be short, but I do want to include it since it has been a dream of mine for some time. Jake and Melissa met at neonuttersofneopia.com where they worked in different departments of the site. They had been chatting for a while and eventually learned they lived about 30 minutes away from each other. They began texting and a few months later, apparently after Melissa wanted to do a podcast of a while and finally realized that Jake did one, she texted him about it. The next day they were recording the first episode of Randomness Squared. They hope the best for this small podcast and will hope to bring news and entertainment to your ears.
